Like the hazelnut tree, our founder has deep roots in the hazelnut business. His grandparents were fifth generation hazelnut farmers on the Black Sea Coast of Turkey—where the most delicious hazelnuts are grown. This uniquely rich and tasty variety is nicknamed “chunky,” a nod to its large size.

Fast forward to 2020, and the start of the pandemic. His grandparents sadly passed away from COVID, leaving behind the family hazelnut farm. That’s when he had an aha moment. You know, the one that changes everything.
